Even better, you’ll only need 4 ingredients to make this! Here’s what you’ll need. Don’t blink, it’s a quick list!
- frozen mango
- frozen bananas
- navel oranges
- coconut milk
Since this is a thick smoothie, you’ll need to start with frozen mango to make it thick enough to spoon. If you want an extra thick smoothie bowl, start with frozen oranges and banana as well!

Tips for making the perfect smoothie bowl
Use fresh, ripe bananas for the perfect sweetness. Make sure your bananas are entirely ripe, with no green, or just the slightest hint of green. The perfect banana is just starting to develop brown spots.
Add your favorite toppings! I love adding delicious fresh raspberries and blackberries to top this smoothie bowl, with a sprinkling of chia seeds for crunch. Some other great options are unsweetened coconut flakes, granola, hemp seeds, and nuts.

We absolutely love our Vitamix for this, but any powerful blender will work, as long as it's able to crush ice.
