My kids are builders.
They’re constantly making something. A few days ago I woke up to a complex zip-line for stuffed animals that the kids had jerry-rigged in our living room. Hardly a day goes by that I don’t find a new LEGO creation that they’ve made on our kitchen table. The only part I don’t love about LEGO are the little pieces underfoot at night (ouch!).
Unfortunately, when this list was last updated in 2019, the LEGO movies weren’t available on Netflix Canada. Here’s a quick list of LEGO movies and TV shows on NEtflix Canada to get you started:
- LEGO Batman
- LEGO Justic League: Gotham City Breakout

Here are a few of our suggestions for the best shows for LEGO loving kids on Netflix!
The Best LEGO movies and Shows on Netflix Canada
LEGO Bionicle
This one’s right up my kids’ alley. LEGO Bionicle is all about the fight between good and evil, set on the mystical island of Okoto where elemental heroes fight for masks of power.
I love that it brings their Bionicle LEGO to life. My son’s been playing with Bionicles for what seems like forever!
LEGO Friends
I love the concept for this LEGO Friends Netflix original series – five best girlfriends go on adventures in their hometown.
Lego DC Comics: Batman Be-Leaguered
Batman! Enough said – my kiddos are nuts for anything superhero-related. Add LEGO to the mix and they were hooked on Lego DC Comics: Batman Be-Leaguered.
LEGO: City
This short movie’s a huge hit at our house. We seem to play it almost every time the kids have someone over for a sleepover. LEGO: City for the win!
LEGO: Elves
The LEGO: Elves is a new winner in our house. I honestly had NO IDEA that LEGO Elves existed until we came across the series by accident.

Dinotrux
Dinosaurs. Plus trucks. What’s not to love in the Dinotrux show? It’s cute and fun, and my kids love watching.
Popples
So stinkin’ cute! Popples is an oldie, but always a favorite.
Pee-wee’s Big Holiday
I can’t watch Pee-wee’s Big Holiday without being jolted back to watching Pee-wee in the ’80’s as a kid. Sure, he’s annoying sometimes, but he’s also funny, and I. just. can’t. look. away.
The Mr. Peabody and Sherman Show
The Mr. Peabody and Sherman Show is one of those shows that we keep returning to time after time, and no wonder. Time travel? Check! Talking dog? Check!
Veggie Tales
So my kids keep telling me that they’re too cool and too old to watch the Veggie Tales. So how come I find them completely engrossed in the show whenever I put it on?
