These strawberry jam thumbprint cookies are buttery soft and filled with tasty fruit jam. This is such a simple tasty recipe that we’ve been making these strawberry jam cookies every few weeks for years now.
The kids adore how easy they are to make, and with only five ingredients, they’re simple for me too! Plus, it’s so much fun to make little indents in the top, and fill them with tasty jam before baking!
It’s been a busy year, and we’re trying to squeeze in the most fun possible in the remaining weeks before the holidays.
We’ve been getting together with family and friends every chance we get, and I’ve been planning snacks.
So, as the designated go-to snack person, I’ve been in charge of making sure we have yummy treats in the house, like these adorable no bake reindeer cookies with pretzel antlers, this yummy strawberry pizza recipe with a sugar cookie crust, chocolate peppermint kiss thumbprint cookies, or these thumbprint cookies with icing and sprinkles.

I’m curious. Can you use a dollop of peanut butter or Nutella instead of jam?
Thank you
Hi Sue. Yes peanut butter or Nutella would be delicious, and should work just fine. Let me know how they turn out!
